About Our Riding Trails

Here at Splendor Farms we pride ourselves in offering the best trail riding facility in the area. We ride through creeks & woods, across big fields, and around lakes. We ride across different terrain on all our trails and never see the same tree twice! Deer, egrets, herons, and beautiful scenery are along every ride, even the occasional alligator and wild hog come across our rides! Our horses are some of the best around and we have horses from the gentlest old mare to "off track" geldings....There is a horse here for everyone of any experience level!

We strive to run safe trips. All guests should realize the inherent dangers in horseback riding and other outdoor activities. They should be in good physical condition. Each guest will be required to sign an "Agreement to Participate and An Affirmation of Risk". Guests under the age of eighteen need a parent's signature on the agreement. Only parents and legal guardians can sign these forms. If you are bringing your kid's friends, these forms can be downloaded off our website in advance of your stay/ride with us so that their parent/guardian can sign the waiver and date it the day(s) they will be here.

Persons of extra large size (over 250 pounds) are not able to be adequately accommodated due to saddle size, their comfort, and the comfort of our horses. Please understand.

We ride Western. All of the rides are guided. We do not allow double riding. Children must wear helmets, which we provide. Riders with no experience are welcome! Those riders who feel comfortable in the saddle will enjoy our scenic two and three hour trails (offered seasonally).

Splendor Farms Trail Riding Rates: (seasonal)

If you take a chance and visit without a reservation and wish to go out on the trails, there is an extra $15.00 fee, per person, for going into the fields, catching your horse, and saddling. For parties of 6 or more, there is a $50.00 fee to reserve an entire ride just for your group. For parties of 10 or more, the fee is $100.00. For parties of 15 or more, the fee is $150.00.

"I just wanted to thank you guys for today's Horse ride. My daughter and I had a fabulous day. Also, Brett, was a great guy. Lucky man, he's living the dream. Also, I thought your facility was very clean. I can't imagine the work it takes to keep it clean on a daily basis. I give you guys major props for that. All the animals look very happy and healthy. We will definitely be coming back :) " -- Lori, October, 2011
