"Shi Wampy "

| |
Shi Wampy and Jack have been stable mates for over seven years. I bought Shi Wampy, but was then told that Jack had been his best friend for years....what could I do? I bought them both, and I am glad I did! Jennifer is 10 and in the fourth grade. She handled him just fine!

"Star"

| |
Star, beautiful Star, is our Palomino broodmare. Star has been at Splendor Farms the longest (12 years). I will breed her again this year. She is retired from riding due to a bad hip, but when you do get on her, she still thinks it's time to barrel race. I need to find her a suitable partner...All her babies are gorgeous, palominos, buckskins, paints, and sorrels....what color will she throw next year?

"Miss Dottie"

| |
Miss Dottie, our leopard appaloosa mare by Party Man Can was bred to Drew, a "Hancock bred" stallion on June 4. Foal is due on May 4, 2009. We're hoping to get a blue roan leopard appaloosa from this breeding.

"Buddy D"

| |
Buddy D is a gorgeous bay gelding, ready to go all the time and a great intermediate to experienced riders' horse. Fun to ride and a real sweetheart on the ground. Sound as they come and favorite of the guests!

Buddy D! |
"Domino"

| |
This
is Domino. He is a retired polo pony who came to me 300 pounds
underweight. Splendor Farms is known for its' R & R facilities
not just for people, but for animals, too. We are members
of Hooved Animal Rescue Placement (HARP)
and Collie & Dachshund Rescue programs. Domino is for
experienced riders only. You won't get much pleasure unless
you're always ready to run!

"Buckshot"

| |
My favorite! Buckshot! Fun is his middle name, rides with a hackamore and never backs away from anything on the trail, even a wild pig...Of course, he is very smart, that is why he didn't confront the pig, either! A great ride for anyone!
"Kimmie"

| |
"Whispering Kimmie" is a beautiful bay mare whose grandsire is Go Man Go. We are looking to breed her next spring, but in the meantime a dainty trail mare, always alert and eager to go....
"Smoky" & "Gracie"

| |
These two are my mutt & jeff or city v. country guys...both are draft horses, Smoky from City Park, in New Orleans, is a part Percheron pony and Gracie, a huge draft mare from a Kentwood, Louisiana dairy farm. I trust both of them with children, and Gracie with riding double! Although Gracie is large, we still have a weight limit of 250 pounds, for both your and our horses comfort!
"Jack"

| |
Jack is my sweetheart. Loves to go and needs a competent rider. Not a mean bone in his body, very flashy. This is his "just got back and had a roll" look!
"Pippin"

| |
"Watch Pippin Glo" a/k/a Pippin is a beautiful chocolate palomino gelding only 5 years old and ready to do anything! He's currently for sale for $1975.00. He comes with full registration papers and current vaccinations and negative coggins test. His teeth were floated in May. If you are interested in him, contact me.
"Duke"

| |
Duke. What an investment....$400.00 with tack. I can put 10-year-old kids on him and little ole ladies and he's a perfect gentleman....A nice bay gelding with a beautiful tail - and a great gait. Worth 3 times what I paid for him! Welcome to Splendor Farms.
