I bought Penny from Fran Singleton in Texas. Her sire is a Red Sable. She is a fireball with her toys and loves to hide them under the couch. Penny was vet-checked and deemed healthy after having three litters. She will be bred one more time to Kokomo. Splendor Farms will keep a red female to take Penny's place in our breeding program.

Splendor Farms has always bred, shown, and raised the long-haired miniature dachshund for the past 12 years. In the last few years we ventured into the standard size dachshund. However, we never had an inclination to breed the smooth variety until I met Dahlia! This beautifully bred black and smooth girl comes from champion finished parents and other generation champions, as well. After much thought, I bought her and will be breeding her with Baxter next year.
She is gorgeous and we're lucky to have found her!
